the series ‘Inner Light I, II, III’ was created to accompany the spatial design for Japanese culinary project, rokusho, in Los Angeles.

The dining space is intimate, minimal and colorless, thus the work is meant to feel only lightly stimulating, like a part of the wall they inhabit or a series of apertures with light peaking through. Lead, genuine silver leaf, and washi paper on wood.
